    LEED® is a third party certification program and an internationnal reference point for design, construction and operation of high performance green buildings. Credits and Prerequisites are organized in five categories. In Canada, the CaGBC (Canada Green Building Council) certifies projects based on the total point score archived, following an independant review of documents provided by the engeneer and construction teams.

    Based on STRATO Automation’s studies, regarding new construction and existing buildings, we found the following points vs credits analysis.

    New Construction and Major Renovations

    • Energy and Atmosphere :
      • Credit 1 (Possibility of 21 points)
      • Credit 5.1 (Possibility of 1 point)
      • Credit 5.2 (Possibility of 1 point)

    • Indoor Environmental Quality :
      • Credit 1 (Possibility of 1 point)
      • Credit 6 (Possibility of 1 point)
      • Credit 7 (Possibility of 1 point)

    Existing Buildings

    • Energy and Atmosphere :
      • Credit 1 (Possibility of 18 points)
      • Credit 3.1 (Possibility of 1 point)
      • Credit 3.2 et 3.3 (Possibility of 1 point)

    • Indoor Environmental Quality :
      • Credit 1.1 (Possibility of 1 point)
      • Credit 1.2 (Possibility of 1 point)
      • Credit 2.3 (Possibility of 1 point)
